This photo failed to post earlier— on the first day of our travels we visited a gallery in what used to be the club known as CBGB’s where major punk and new wave bands made their names.  We checked out an exhibit of rock and roll photography by Bob Gruen, featuring luminaries such from the Ramones and Iggy Pop to John and Yoko and Bruce Springsteen.

Mike and Andy had to navigate us back to Queens at the end of our trek.Everybody took a turn at being navigators— and we always seemed to get where we needed to go!
